ADHD and attention support for children in Cairo
CIPPO supports children and teenagers with ADHD and attention difficulties through one-to-one sessions, a structured program and support inside school. CIPPO is based in New Cairo and works with families across Cairo.
Every child is distracted sometimes. Parents usually contact us when things like these happen most days, at home and at school, and are getting in the way. Starts homework or a task and drifts away from it within minutes, even when willing. Loses track of instructions that have more than one step. Acts or speaks before thinking, and regrets it afterwards. Finds waiting, queuing or sitting through a lesson much harder than classmates do. Forgets books, deadlines and belongings in spite of reminders. Has big feelings over small setbacks and takes a long time to settle. Noticing these does not mean a child has ADHD. It means it is worth understanding what is going on.
Skills, not willpower. ADHD Sessions work on attention regulation, executive functioning and self-management: planning a task, getting started, holding back an impulse and staying with something to the end. The strategies are evidence-based and neurodiversity-affirming, so the work fits how your child's mind works instead of asking them to try harder.
A plan when one session at a time is not enough. The ADHD Program puts the sessions a child needs into one plan, at a lower price than booking each one separately. It suits families who want a set course with a beginning and an end.
A clear picture first, if you want one. If you are not sure what is behind the difficulty, the Behaviour & Emotional Profile gathers a structured view from parents and from teachers using the Pearson BASC questionnaires. You receive a written profile with recommendations for home and school.
If attention is the main difficulty in class, a CIPPO inclusion practitioner, what many parents call a shadow teacher, can support your child inside the school day: staying on task, moving from one activity to the next and handling frustration without leaving the lesson.
Sessions are delivered by CIPPO practitioners from psychology, speech and language support, occupational support and education, who work as one team under supervision.
